We finally heard back from the bank, after 4 long months. They accepted our offer on the house. The reason it took so long is because it was in short sale, so the bank had to acceot the offer, not the current home owners. I will fill you in on the details as soon as we hear more.
We are filling out the papers tonight and hopefully will be able to close on the first weekend in December. YEAH!!! We will be in our "home" for Christmas! It has been different moving 10 hours away from the home we use to own and moving into an apartment while we looked for a new home, but it was worth the wait! God is good!

congrats!!!! I moved into a home Dec. 18th in 98.......it was soooo special.......I even had Christmas lights up on the holiday......in honor of my new home!!

okay, i haven't been on here in forever so i've been catching up with the johnsons. wow, you all have been busy. so glad to hear jill and james came to visit. i'm pumped to hear more about the house:) the kids were so cute for halloween...landon was spiderman too. he was so excited when i told him sky was too. we saved on a costume b/c he was spiderman last year too. (that's a lot of too's) sorry to hear about your wreck, but glad everyone was okay.
i think that was all that i read...we're doing great, we have big news too but not able to write it on the web yet. call if you don't know yet. boys are doing great, work is okay, not enough hours this week...like 13 or so. so we'll be pretty tight, but it'll all be okay...God has taken such good care of us. we've made some very good friends from ohio who have become our family and friends. and we're the same for them. we'll miss you at thanksgiving and christmas, it won't be the same but we'll have to make it fun somehow. i guess no iron chef this year :( still waiting for a big snow. the boys can't wait.
