...Stuffy noses and coughing. I guess it is that time of year. I didn't think it would start this soon since we are in Florida now. I guess it doesn't matter where you live, you can not avoid the yucky runny noses and coughing!
After hearing a few days of constant sniffing and Skyler coughing every breath for the last two nights, I decided to take him in to the doctor today. They sent him home with a cough syrup and xopenex to do breathing treatments every 4-6 hours. Thankfully we already have a nebulizer at home because my daughter has asthma and has to do treatments a lot. My son Skyler was very excited when he found out he had to do treatments...he loves to be like his big sister.
Hopefully his fever will go away by tomorrow so he won't be so miserable and maybe HE , or should I say we ALL, will sleep a lot better. I have had a lot of good snuggle time though, which I am very thankful for. I treasure every snuggle that I can get!
The book I am reading, "One Month to Live", came to mind when I was watching Skyler do his breathing treatment today. "Life isn't measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."

Hope skyler feels better soon! We have the nasty cough and cold around here too...yuck! Take care!
hope Skyler feels better soon... we had the cough and sniffles going on here too
I hope Skyler's feeling better soon too...and I love that quote you put at the end of your post - so true!!
So funny he was excited to use the nebulizer! Gavin has asthma and totally fears our nebulizer. And yep, cough and sniffles are going around, Katelyn has felt yucky for about a week. Hope Skyler feels better!
great quote! I may have to share that one on my blog today :) Hope the little one is feeling better soon and the family can get some much needed rest!
We have the same stuff floating around here. Hope your kids start feeling better.
I hope he's feeling better. This time of year makes me want to lock my family up and keep everyone inside until spring.
Love the quote!
Skyler, get well soon little guy! When I first saw the picture, before reading, I thought, oh no, he's developed asthma like his big sister! So glad to hear he was excited and not afraid of the treatment.
Great quote, I'll have to remember that one!
Hope Skyler gets to feeling better!
Awww. i hope that Skyler feels better soon! :(
Anna had a runny nose yesterday. I just hate it when flu season comes around. :9
That is so sweet that he wants to be just like Jada! I hope he feels better!
