I am going to try and type this if I can see through all my tears! I just dropped Sky off at his first day of preschool. He is just the joy of my life! He came in the kitchen this morning with his eyes shut and stumbling trying to get to me and said, "I am ready for my first day of school!" He has been looking forward to this day for a while. He insisted on taking a bath this morning (even though he was clean) because he said he wanted to smell good at school today. He just makes me smile! I know he is going to love it and had no problem when it was time for me to leave. Part of me wanted him to cling to me and the other part was so thankful he feels so comfortable going to preschool! Right now it is eerily quiet in the house. I really miss all his giggles and that BIG SMILE of his! I can't imagine what it will be like when they go off to college...I know that is a long time from now!

We stopped by daddy's office so daddy could walk with us to Sky's classroom!
Sky had to find his name and turn over his card. He has to do that every morning when he comes in!
Then he hung up his backpack and lunch box.
Then he found his name on table and started playing with puzzles as all the other children were coming in!
I am so proud of him! He is such a big boy and will be in my prayers all day!

Another Big Day

oh....what a big day! I remember dropping off my oldest baby at kindergarten, and I never made it to the front of the school before my tears rolled. A teacher saw me, and told me it will get easier;-)

he looks as happy as Gracie :) Will he go all day or half? It is quieter here but the twins still make their share of noise. Gracie is tired when she gets home around 11:00 and when naptime comes around she is OUT :)
Oh wow! First day of school!!! I was just thinking that someday Anna will go to preschool... it's not to far away. She's already almost two. :D
Sky is such a handsome boy! Seriously! He looks like he stepped out of a television show or a commercial. He's adorable! :D
My sweet little boy! I just boo hooed over all of this! I can't believe he's this big. Honest to goodness, it's just not right for him to grow up!!
Also - we got two shells and the sweetest card ever from some people today. That also made me cry.

Well, I tried to read this out loud to Dad but told me to stop when I couldn't compose myself, ha. So he had to read it his self. I just look at that little face and remember him climbing in the bed with us in the middle of the night, leading music in his homemade chaple in the woods, being in awe with a simple prayer drove away a "ferocious beast", simming undering water so long I thought he had grown gills, and I still hear his precious little voice every where I go.
I am glad he is so happy, content, and confident, you are a wonderful Mother, there is no wonder.
I am not looking forward to that day with my daughter.
When I was teaching I remember the moms having a hard time dropping off their kids. But I didn't really understand just how hard it really is cuz I didn't have my own yet.
Responding to your question on an workout for beginners.....the one mile Leslie Sansome with weighted balls is great...the dvd has three levels and it's only 18 min...not to intense but a good level to start for your heart. The weights are light and great for toning at the same time :) I ordered through Amazon.com. It's the 2006 DVD
